Im Land in dem Großväter Mörder waren
Millionen Menschen ermordet, verbrannt
Dieses Land erwacht aus seinem Schlaf
Vergisst all das, was vorher war
Relativiert, die Opfer verhöhnt
Stauffenberg zum Helden gekrönt
Hitler als Mensch portraitiert
Täter gefeiert und heroisiert
Die da reden von vergessen
Die da reden von verzeihen
Denen schlage man die Fressen
Mit schweren Eisenhämmern ein
Im Land in dem Eltern Brandstifter waren
Grölende Meuten vor Heimen in Flammen
Dieses Land will einen Schlussstrich ziehen
Sich lieber auf Heldentaten besinnen
Von rechts überholt, Faschisten gewählt
Todeslisten zusammengestellt
Bedrohung von außen inszeniert
Panik verbreitet und Hass geschürt
Die da reden von vergessen
Die da reden von verzeihen
Denen schlage man die Fressen
Mit schweren Eisenhämmern ein

Hoher Brendten
In a country where grandfathers were murderers
Millions of people were killed and burned
This country now awakes from sleep
Forgets everything that has been
Relativising, mocking the victims
Turning Stauffenberg into a hero
Portraying Hitler as a human
Celebrating and glorifying perpetrators
‘Those who talk about forgetting
Those who talk about forgiving
Should have smashed their ugly faces
And crushed them with an iron maul’
In a country where parents were arsonists
Roaring mobs in front of burning homes
This country wants to put the past to rest
To rather reflect on heroic deeds
Overtaken on the right, fascists elected
Compiling death lists
Staging an external threat
Spreading panic and inciting hate
‘Those who talk about forgetting
Those who talk about forgiving
Should have smashed their ugly faces
And crushed them with an iron maul’

Wow. I did not expect violin and cello from a crust band.
Wow. I did not expect crust from a band that has both a violinist and a cellist.

The Italian hardcore group’s latest is a powerful, claustrophobic album that rarely lets up its mathy, metallic assault. Bandcamp Album of the Day Feb 6, 2018
The frantic and furious punk rock from this Sheffield band sounds like 7,000 motorcycles barreling down an empty highway. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 21, 2017

One of many releases I missed last year, and boy is this hitting hard now that I found it. Very similar to Morrow, which I love, but much quicker in getting the point across without losing any of the impact. Really great stuff. Dementicus
